I’m not sure what was going through my head with that last post. But here I have redeemed myself with a fancy way to keep your beer cool. Anybody interested in making one of these?
I would use one of these. I tend to have beer with hot dinner, and sometimes my dinner makes the beer a little warm towards the end. I prefer the contrast of the cold beer to cleanse my palate (or something).
It’s especially important now, because Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA has finally made its way to NYC! I of course picked up a 6-pack as soon as I saw it. Strangely, we’ve had the Shelter Pale Ale, Chickory Stout, Raison D’Etre, and Indian Brown for as long as I’ve lived here, but yesterday was the first time I’d seen 60-minute in NYC. I’ve also recently seen the pumpkin ale, but only in 4-packs. Alas….

That’s okay, Buffalo Bill’s is still the best Pumpkin Ale! Oh, and soon enough, it’ll be time for Harpoon Winter Warmer… one of my favorites!
