Moving

May 8, 06:57 PM · from the mouth of Andy

Yes that’s right boys, the time has finally arrived:

Lisa and I are moving in together!!

After a brief but tumultuous apartment hunt, we found a lovely, affordable 2 bedroom with full kitchen on 109th street, just 7 blocks from Columbia. We move in on June 17th. I’m pretty sure our official new address is:

210 W 109 ST #33
New York, NY 10025

Phone numbers and e-mails will stay the same, of course.

Now that this is official, you guys MUST come and visit! This would be a perfect time to renew talk of a potential New York trip – with a spare bedroom and our living room we’d have plenty of space to host 5 lovely ladies like yourselves for a weekend. Any takers?

And while I’ve got your attention, I’ve gotta acknowledge Sarah, whose graduation announcement came in the mail today. Congrats on finishing!

Say something! [5]

Congratulations! :) But Andy… why would we need all that extra room?

Hooray Andy and Lisa! Welcome to the club (the living in sin club, of course). Jimmy ‘n Sarah are doin’ it. Jess and I did it. Jake and John did it for a while. Way ta go.

And yes, I’m still very excited about a New York trip. Woo hoo!!

    Love Ty.

P.S. I made a new batch of beer. I call it, “Nevins Homebrew: Double-Hopped White Ale” It’s a belgian witbier (or, wheat beer, but pronounced VIT-beer) and it’s spiced with orange and lemon peels, corriander, vanilla bean, black pepper, cumin, and it has honey, oats, barley, and a double helping of hops (as the name would imply). I’ll try to save a few for this New York trip.

    BEER!

Speaking of brewing, I found a PodCast that at least Jimmy will enjoy: Basic Brewing Video. It’s these two guys who show you how to brew beer! I watched an episode today about brewing mead (that’s right, I said MEAD!). It's funny too, 'cause the main guy, James Spencer, actually reminds me a lot of Andy's dad! You can subscribe to it for free on iTunes, just search for basic brewing. Or you can view it directly at their website: basicbrewing.com

They’ve also got an audio podcast, Basic Brewing Radio, but I’m too A.D.D. to pay attention to that. I need visual stimulation.

    Beer! MEAD!!

Congrats!! Aaaand… thanks so much ;o)

By the by… does this mean you’d have a spare key then? LoL. Or will everyone still be toting their luggage around Manhattan? ;oP
