Just thought you guys (Andy especially) would find this interesting. Using a bunch of web technologies (mostly Javascript) someone has cobbled together a method for rendering music notation. =O
Cool! I’m embarrassed to admit that my ability to read music has pretty much rusted away to nothing (not that I was ever very strong at reading music to begin with. I guess all the jokes about guitarists are true!)
I’m more excited about the VexTab… Much of the guitar tab you find on the internet is literally typed out with dashes and other characters, which is very tough to read. I hope this is widely adopted among the online guitar community!
