Nov 19, 03:02 PM · from the mouth of Jim

Something very special is sitting in my fridge. I’m not quite yet ready to unleash The Beast, but gawwwwd…. I’m just dying to try it.

I’ll let ya’ll know what it’s like – if I can remember drinking it. :)

18 percent…. yeah. Have a nice time! Meanwhile I have some Wolaver’s IPA in my fridge. Wolaver’s is the same company as Otter Creek Brewing (Vermont), but all of their beer lines are fully organic. Really a beautiful beer. Not 18%, but beautiful none the less. Honestly, I tend not to like brandywine type beers. Any beer more than like 12% is a little too much for me, and tastes like a beer with a shot of vodka in it. But I’m sure you’ll love it!

Also, semi-related, yesterday was Beaujolais Day! Beaujolais is different from other wines in that it is drank fresh, not allowed to age at all. The third Thursday in November is the annual day the new crop of Beaujolais is released to the world. It’s a big deal in France, and has been catching on a lot in the states over the last decade or so. I got a bottle last night of George Dubeuff. Tasty and fruity (like Jimmy).
